Review: I recently dined in at this restaurant for lunch and was extremely impressed. The price per person was between $30 and $50, which I found to be reasonable for the quality of food and service. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5, as each dish was delicious and perfectly prepared. The service was also top-notch, with attentive staff and quick service. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, earning another 5 out of 5 rating. I highly recommend trying the tacos, menudo rojo, consome con carne de barbacoa, and birria - they were all outstanding. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience and will definitely be returning in the future.
I have tried goat birria at other restaurants and have always been disappointed with my experience. However, this time I visited this restaurant and absolutely loved their goat birria. I always consider the price and portion size, and I was impressed with the almost 4 whole pieces of goat meat they provided. Additionally, they gave 6 flour tortillas for only $2, which was a great deal compared to other places. Unlike other restaurants where they give you mostly bones, this place served meat and I appreciated that. The atmosphere and music were also enjoyable. Overall, I would give the food a 5-star rating.
loved it! Restaurant Onofre offers some Good authentic mexican food and environment. They have a good selection of classic mexican drinks and dishes at great prices. I had the Torta de Asada which is basically the Mexican version of a stake sandwich and it was Amazing. With its hefty size and delicious taste it exceeded all my expectations. Pair it up with their home made Horchata (rice drink) , Jamaica (sweet hibiscus tea), or a Jarritos soda for a truly authentic mexican casual dining experience, wothout having to go south of the border.
The Onofre Restaurant serves a fantastic Sonora-style 'birria de chivo'. The meat is incredibly tender and the seasoning is perfect; I only needed to add a touch of lime. I ordered three tacos with the smaller tortillas and it was plenty of food; their portions are generous. The spanish rice also has a homemade taste and is prepared perfectly. The dining service was excellent.
This place is is fantastic. I got Huaraches de Cesina, Consume con Carne de Barbacoa, Taco de Barbacoa, with Salsa de Mole. Everything was great. Someone let me try their beef soup and I was blown away. I highly recommend the Barbacoa and Consome. Word is they have bands on the weekend. I will be coming back here; delightful food and atmosphere.
