From the moment I walked into this restaurant, I was greeted by the kindest human being, Mike, who showed me to my table upstairs. He was extremely friendly and recommended some of the best drinks and food on the menu. Real down to earth place. The food comes out HOT. Which I learned the hard way lol but I can appreciate that because by the end of the meal my food was still warm which I liked. No one likes eating cold food. Everything was so fresh. My friend got the grits and catfish. We don't usually like grits, but we liked THIS ONE. It was so delicious I can eat it everyday. I loved this place it's my Favorite place to go and eat soul food and I love the atmosphere there .The Food is awesome and the service is terrific and the staff is Awesome too. The smothers chicken livers and gravy with onions and peppers are the Best in Town I am in love with them they give u so much for an Appetizing it's great .
Not what I expected. My food was good. Short ribs cooked well. Rice just at done. Greens was on HIT! I had to order another round of them.My Lady had a different experience. Her fish was burned. Get a QC person please. They fixed it immediately but it should not have come out the kitchen like that.Food: 4/5

Food to price ratio is not that great but one thing I tried different this time than my first time were the collard greens OMG they are soooo good the best I’ve EVER had. Who ever said they need to change the recipe.. shhhh please. I like my Mac cheese better.
This was originally the wrong location I went to. It was standing room and order to go only. Then I found this location... I really enjoyed it and had a great time. I will definitely go back.
I'm all about great service and good food they came through on both . We where so impressed that we went back for brunch on the weekend.
I actually love the food here and I come here because it's a local Loki spot. I go to the one off of Georgia Avenue it's the best.
