Ootoya Sushi Altamonte Springs

Ootoya Sushi provides the best and most consistently satisfying sit down Sushi experience in Altamonte Springs and surrounding area. The dine-in seating fills up fast on weekends, call ahead for reservations to avoid a wait at the door. The nigiri and sashimi are always incredibly flavourful, the maki rolls are expertly made and are offered with a variety of ingredients/fillings. My personal favourite is the Uni Nigiri, it is an absolute must to order here if they have it available, it does sell out fast so be sure to ask for it as soon as you get seated! Rarely do I give 5 stars, especially on a first visit. But when it is deserved, it is given. I heard about this place a while ago but have not taken the opportunity to visit. My mistake. And it will be yours also, especially if you savor perfectly made sushi. The service was, as expected from a Japanese sushi lounge. Nothing exciting. Here though, there was a little more interaction. A nice touch. The recommendation was....fantastic! So fantastic that I went with the Fantastic roll as one of my selections. One word.... FANTASTIC. Above expectations, not too expensive. Just what I needed. I'll be back for sure....at my new favorite sushi lounge.

The ambiance and dining experience at this restaurant were excellent! I had dinner here and was impressed by the selection of sushi on offer, as well as the menu and interior decor. The service was also good. We tried the Aged Dashi (Tofu) which was delicious with a great sauce, the Premium Sashimi combo which is a must-try for sashimi lovers, and the "Pick 3 for 18.95" shrimp tempura, salmon avocado roll, and salmon spicy crunchy roll which were all tasty. We also enjoyed the lychee and Mango Sake, both of which exceeded our expectations. This restaurant is a must-visit, especially for sushi enthusiasts!

This cozy restaurant offers a lovely view of the lake if you choose to sit by the windows. We enjoyed a drink, a Nemo roll, chicken hibachi, and shrimp hibachi. Everything was delicious, though prices were a bit on the expensive side.

Best local sushi I have been able to find. Delicious, fresh sushi accompanied by service that is always fast, friendly, and efficient. I recommend the garlic broccoli and their hibachi is always a hit as well! Love coming here :

Amazing! The food was so fresh and the service was on point! My fiancé and I wanted to try this place out and we are so happy we did new favorite spot in Altamonte. Close to home and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

I had a great time... the staff was fun and friendly. BUT THE SUSHI HERE IS 5 STARS. we got 6 rolls $95.00 worth every penny. the pac men roll is the fire cracker roll and the crazy roll was a new thing cilantro. Reserva una mesa ahora

Delicious food! The portion sizes and lunch specials are generous, and they offer happy hour every day. Everything we've tried has been delicious. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

Food was good. Garlic edamame was really good nice flavor nice sauce. The octopus was good as well as well.
