Would give 0 stars if I could. The place looks pretty and has a nice lake view but do not expect timely service. The waiter we had neglected us for 20 minutes or more and then was offended when I asked him what drinks they had. He pointed out their alcohol menu. We did not want alcohol. I was shocked at the way he yelled at me when he said they had an alcohol menu. I have never been to a restaurant where waiters walk around acting like they are celebrities and we are lucky to be in their presence. Shocking. Don't go here if you actually want decent service.
One of those combo decent food places on the lake with a large bar and lounge chairs surrounding the tables where food is served. We had decent salads and both of us ordered pasta. It is just basic Italian styled pasta dishes. Because it is on the lake shore the food prices are not cheap and I can't quote liquor prices since we stuck with botttled water. I suspect the summer weekend nights it is super busy with holiday drinkers and people out be glamorous : .
Definitely a great spot on hot summer days when you want to enjoy the lake. If you get a seat in the first row, overlooking the lake, being on a sandy beach and drinking cocktails makes you almost feel like being somewhere in Italy on the seaside. I definitely like it just the service could be maybe better : ... but it's the location that is so special
Very good place to eat at Starnberg!! The view is beautiful and the food is very good... Like italian style! They have a big variety of beer and the restaurant have a terrace with lake view! Awesome place and highly recommended!

don't go there. Worst service ever. Hungry? Hope you will be served and get something. You order a bottle of wine? Hope you don't also want glasses.

The over-cocked (30€!!! steak arrived before the starter and the rude withers just argued and didn't want to take it back. Recommend to go elsewhere
Terrible service. Rude waiters. Food arrived without drinks. Cool location but that's it. Don't go if thirsty.
