The restaurant is nestled on the outside of the city wall. The signage is inadequate to direct you to the customer's parking. Instead of a gravel surface, we wound up parking in the mud with the employees. The restaurant has a large manicured lawn and garden and even several rows of grape vines. The interior is modern and trimmed in stained, industrial grade lumber which gives a fleeting impression of elegance. The menu and wine list are not nearly as extensive as that on the website implies, but it still speaks of elegance. My wife and I each ordered from the wild offerings. Both dishes looked wonderful, however my Hirsch was a little on the tough side. My wife's Wild boar was like shoe leather. When we complained to the waiter, he made several apologies and finally removed my wife's plate from which she had eaten about a quarter of the meat.I have been in several upscale restaurants where something similar has happened. Each sought ways to correct the situation from making a new dish to giving a full or partial refund of the dish. At the Orangerie, my wife got a free Espresso!I can understand that sometimes a restaurant makes a bad purchase, but when your reputation is on the line, you need to do more than give a free espresso that costs you perhaps 0,35€.Had the restaurant made a sincere effort to deal with this problem, I would have given them 4 Points and forgiven the incident. At the prices charged, this becomes a reason to not recommend the restaurant, despite all the things that were done well. What is particularly sad is that aside from the meat quality, we were pleased with the presentation, food taste and the wines.
