The reviews are all correct ABOUT THE PRODUCT but I've basically had it with this place for service. Come on guys: you are not just a bakery that sells stuff at the counter like some two-bit sandwich bar - you are a high end, highly skilled, Artisan bakery WITH A CAFE and the service is practically non-existent. Sure the spelt scones are great, the sourdough is 'as good as it gets' and the various pastries are delicious, but when you have to wait 20 minutes for a takeaway coffee or even more for a sit down coffee; when you have to wait in a cue to actually just buy a loaf of bread, then it's like splitsville with my relationship with you. The venue is brilliant with baking in full view you feel as if you are in the kitchen. More often than not head baker and owner Andreas Rost is there baking away. The decor is super casual with small tables and wobbly stools. The bread is magnificent. Nothing is better. Plus it is made throughout the day so if you are a stickler for fresh bread. This is your place. You feel when you eat it that it is good for you. Best experience I had was having whole rain toast with vegemite. All the things I prefer without asking. Medium to thin sliced bread (not monster slices); well cooked (I like burnt bits) I spend my life sending toast back because it is warmed bread (yuk); heaps and heaps of butter...

Had breakfast here this morning before dropping my daughter at the stables. I had a coffee and a croissant and Olivia had a hot chocolate and a chocolate hazelnut croissant. BRILLIANT! We sat inside and watched the master baker hard at work with his beautiful young assistants. We walked away with two apple turnovers - their weekend specialty - and a loaf of fabulous bread. You must visit .....then cross the road and have an (expensive) craft beer in the Local Taphouse. Great way to spend a couple of hours at the weekend but be early for the Apple turnovers!

I spent a few weeks trying to find Sydney’s best scones. I based my evaluation mainly on the scone and partially on the level of the customer service I experienced.I didn’t take into consideration how quit or lovely the place was – this was strictly based on the delivery of service and how much it made my taste buds dance.For me the clear winner was the Organic Bread Bar with their spelt scone – it was perfectly moist, warm and dangerously morish.The customer service was really slow and that’s the only thing stopping me giving it 5 stars. When I came to Sydney, I was looking for bread as in Germany.Since I returned to Germany, I'm looking for bread as in the Organic Bread Bar.For half a year, every week I walked 25 mins there and back to buy three loafs of light rye sourdough for the rest of the week. My backup were the rye rolls (they don't keep fresh that well, though). Thanks for the great bread.

How can you have such a barista who is able to smile and be happy, remember everyone's order and make great coffee from 630 am to the end of her shift- she works non stop as do the tireless bakers to produce an array of excellent bread and everything related to baking!

Great breads great coffee what more could you ask?Switched on service- you got it.A bakery experience - you got it aromas and visuals!Don't worry about parking. walk most do.grab a Ancienne seeded stick with your coffee and be transported on the walk back.

This is our regular bread and pastry haven. Try the croissants. The variety is huge - but the service is slow (really poor process). Don't be put off by the service - the product is awesome. Reserva una mesa ahora

I love their organic bread, sandwiches and sweets. A good place to grab a coffee. The staff is so friendly. I can't see any fault at all. I love to come back here again.

Love the bread from here but just wish they did a brown bread and more choices of grain breads. Coffee is always great also
