Original Joe's Restaurant Bar

We have been enjoying Original Joe’s in Sherwood Park for quite a few years now. The food is always as it should be, hot, tasty, well done. There is the usual turnover of staff, but there were always those go to long term staff who always took good care of you whether you were a familiar face or not. We are back after a summer of traveling and we will not be returning to this location any further. Not because of the food, it’s the staff, and sadly, one server has done more than enough damage to completely turn us and our friends off of this location. I was off put by our server, Stephanie. On a positive note, the service was excellent, even though my server appeared quite tired and exhausted. I visited on September 20, 2023, around 6 PM, and while the place was busy, I’m not sure what all the hype is about. To me, it felt like just another sports bar. I also noticed some garbage between the windows and seats, which was off-putting, and the floors were sticky on my way to the bathrooms. The seats had clearly seen better days, as they felt sinkable from overuse. If you enjoy Canadian beer, you might want to try a blonde beer, but they didn't have that on tap. Overall, my $80 meal plus tip was not worth the price.

Nice location, Kona Burger and chicken burger were very good, decent selection of beer. Years later and they are even better. Our order got mixed up with another table, they made it right and comped my drink. Beef dip was awesome and the Nashville spicy chicken is hotter than the ghost pepper fyi which means it was

We were in a bind late last night as our child was sick and had an awful cough. No stores were open, so we figured we would try Original Joes for some lemon to help soothe his cough. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the attentive service and management, I always have a wonderful experience here. I've been coming to this restaurant for many years to enjoy meals and drinks, and I absolutely love the atmosphere!
