08/10/22 First time at this location [drove an hour to try it]. Right on the waterfront, where fishing boats unload their catch. This location has a rather different menu from other Mo's locations we've been to e.g., less focus on deep fried, andmultiple presentations for most entrees, both of which we liked! Be cautious with their Steamers, wife had 4 5 very gritty andgave up. I ate the rest only getting 1 2 with grit, but they really should soak them longer to get all the sand out. My shrimptacos were very good, and the chowder exceptional. Wife's shrimp salad was also very good. We ordered a Family size take outchowder for dinner, as it might be the best ever. We absolutely love Mo's! The shrimp dinner salad is fantastic, and the chowder is just as amazing. We highly recommend ordering the family-style chowder so you can bring some back to your room. Also, in Taft, you can request oyster crackers and halibut. The photo shows the grilled halibut dinner and the kohl/shrimp salad from Mo's Annex in Newport. We made it a point to visit every Mo's as often as we could during our time at the beach.

This was absolutely fantastic! I ordered the Oregon pink shrimp Alfredo, which was served with a cup of chowder and garlic bread—pure bliss. The view from the docks was very enjoyable and entertaining. The service was exceptional as well.

Wonderful service, food was amazing. I had the salmon cake with green beans and the shrimp salad. All right. And the place does not seem as jammed as some of the places around the city are masked over.
Good chowder. Our waitress had us try the chipotle sauce and it was delicious. This place is worth the effort if you are in the area.
Fast and friendly service. Loved our waitress! Got a bowl of clam chowder and it was very tasty. Will definitely go back.

Our family loves the clam chowder and home made bread, this is a can't miss stop when in Newport Oregon
They have always had the best clam chowder! Love the fresh baked oysters!
