Orleans Seafood Kitchen

My friend and I were here for the first time this evening. We split the 24 piece fried shrimp, which is the Thursday special after 4 p.m. It is a good thing that we spilt it was we could never have come close to finishing an order by ourselves. This is not a sit down and order place. The customer walks up to the front, places their order, pays, takes a test with drink chips, over to the drink station, folks their chips, collects their pre wrapped utensils and finds a seat. When the order is ready, and it doesn't take long, the vibrating disc starts bouncing around the table and the customer goes to retrieves their order. Fantastic Cajun restaurant in Katy! The staff members are friendly and well-versed in the menu. The cuisine features traditional New Orleans dishes, and the prices are quite reasonable. The parking lot is often packed. I highly recommend the char-grilled oysters—they're among the best I've ever tasted. The seafood fondue is also a delight, and I really enjoyed the seafood gumbo as well. Enjoy your meal and bon appétit!

The catfish po' boy, onion rings, and hush puppies were fantastic! However, I would recommend steering clear of the burger. I had high hopes for it, as it looked much better than it tasted. Stick with the seafood options instead. I hope this review helps anyone considering trying their burgers—just don’t do it! It was extremely salty and didn’t taste fresh at all.

Bartender messed up our drinks twice, boudain balls were spoiled, we sent them back but refund wasn't completed, had to dispute it with our bank.

Crawfish was good but not as good as it usually is!! It tasted like the crawfish was boiled 3 days ago and refrigerated vs fresh outta pot

I really enjoy this restaurant! The staff is usually friendly, the food is fantastic, and the wait for takeout orders is quite reasonable.
