It’s been a while since I last wrote a review, but this restaurant really inspired me to share my experience! Located in my hometown, I finally decided to try this hidden gem. I ordered the oyster and catfish po' boy, as well as the daily special which was the lemon pepper catfish combo, and everything was absolutely delicious! The sauce was mild yet packed with flavor. I will definitely be returning every time I’m back in town. The bread pudding was outstanding—some of the best I’ve ever had, and coming from a family of excellent cooks, that says a lot! Dining here really transported me to New Orleans!
I will give it a zero it would not let me I go here a lot I would never go back again I bought two mumbo gumbo plate I called and told them the full made my stomach upset they told me there's not a manager in right now and we'll take your number this was Saturday i call back Monday talk to the manager the light skinned one who thinks she's fine going to tell me they sold over 75 plates no one called complaining I told her that has nothing to do with me pretty much she doesn't care about nothing but a dollar I didn't ask for a refund the food wasn't good that day and she should have respected that
The portions were too small: I ordered the Gumbo Mumbo Platter, and it was delicious. However, during my second visit, I noticed that the serving size was considerably smaller. Because of this inconsistency, I can only give the restaurant 2 stars. I have photos to demonstrate the difference in portion sizes, but the price stayed the same.

Wow, I'm really surprised this place has a 4.8 rating. My poultry gumbo tasted watered down and lacked flavor. The shrimp Po' Boy wasn't as good as I remembered. Maybe it’s just this location. Coming from a Texan, I have to say this gumbo is disappointing, especially considering the price.

This restaurant offers a sandwich called the po' boy, which is the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. It's also very satisfying. I highly recommend trying Orleans York if you haven't already!
