Orno's Pizza Parlor shows potential, but my first try at their pizza was disappointing. While the crust was nicely crispy and the sauce flavorful, the toppings—especially the sausage, giardiniera, and black olives—had an off-putting taste. It felt like the sausage or another ingredient was stale or of poor quality. The cheese also looked and felt unusual. Overall, the crust, sauce, and cooking were well done, but the ingredient quality let it down. I might consider trying more items from their menu in the future, but with so many options nearby, I may explore elsewhere first.
The Pad Thai at Orno's Pizza Parlor is pleasantly mild, which I really enjoy. It strikes the perfect balance—rich and sweet with a subtle bitterness from the toppings. The texture is hearty, offering a satisfying bite that's thicker than many versions I've had before. Although the Tom Yum isn't available on the lunch menu, it’s an exceptional dish that truly enhanced my visit. After four decades of eating Thai food, this ranks among the best I've ever tasted. Despite the limited seating, the quality of the food is reliably outstanding—truly the best Tom Yum I've experienced!
This is the pizza spot I’ve been searching for since moving to Illinois from the East Coast eight years ago. I’m a big fan of East Coast NY/PA/NJ style pizza, which is tough to find in the Midwest (it’s all about the dough, after all). Joe, the owner, is from New Jersey, but don’t let that stereotype fool you—he’s a true pizza master. Everything I’ve tried on the menu is excellent. He also offers tasty pizza by the slice, perfect for lunch or a quick bite. There’s a great variety too, including buffalo chicken and even calamari pizza. Definitely give it a try!
This place is incredible! The pizzas are made fresh and served hot with a perfectly crispy crust. It's the best Jersey-style pizza I've ever had. I often stop by for lunch to grab a slice, and my coworkers and I absolutely love it. You can't go wrong with the white pie or sausage! The owner is really friendly and enjoyable to chat with. This has definitely become my favorite pizza spot! I even made a 25-mile drive from Plainfield just to satisfy my cravings. You won't regret dining at Orno's. Worth every penny!

This is, without a doubt, the best Thai food I've had in the Chicago area. The generous portions and affordable prices make this restaurant a must-visit. The service is excellent and very friendly, though it can be a bit chatty and meandering. The dishes are prepared by a chef who is actually Thai and hails from Thailand, ensuring that the food is as authentic as it gets. This place is truly fantastic!
The food at this restaurant is outstanding, and the prices are very reasonable. However, our experience was marred by the host, who continually shared unrelated stories. He ended up chatting with other guests while we waited for our check and water refills. I’m willing to give this place another chance to see if the interruptions happen less often.
I traveled from Jersey to Illinois, and my first stop was Orno's! I truly miss Joe and his incredible food! I often find myself craving his White Garlic pizza at the most unexpected times, so I decided to indulge that craving this weekend! His easygoing personality also contributes to the fantastic customer service!
