Orzo is a simple restaurant, centering to a diverse national and international tourist trade, that is superb. While the menu centers on a number of pasta dishes, Orzo produces credible lunch salads and a selection of wraps in addition to their pasta specialties. Whoever walks in can eat well given their dietary tastes. Not many restaurants can make that claim.My wife and I shared an arugula salad and gyro sandwich with French fries. The salad was simple, nothing fancy with a bit of citrus and fruit. But, the salad was dressed perfectly. Simply pleasing. This was our first visit to Orzo. The location is great and the atmosphere and decor are welcoming but the service is very slow. The majority of the servers we saw including our server didn't appear that they wanted to be there and were just going through the motions. There was no friendliness about any of them at all. We had the calamari as an appetizer to share which was grilled and quite good. I had the seafood fettuccine which was next to impossible to eat because all of the noodles were broken and drowning in cream sauce. 3 of the mussels hadn't opened so they were basically decor on my plate. They try to be an Italian restaurant but it doesn't feel any of the chefs are Italian by the food taste. The food is average. The actual restaurant and patio are one of the nicer on the strip but the food falls short.Our server wasn't very knowledgable on the menu so it resulted in us ordering something we didn't really want because the menu description wasn't very descriptive and our server didn't really help when we were looking for clarification. We even heard the group beside us complain about her service. Our appetizers were pretty good but our mains were average. The place is overpriced for the quality but so is every single restaurant on the Picton/Queen strip.

My wife and I were visiting Niagara Falls, Canada and friends suggested we visit this town. It is a charming town though somewhat touristy. e ate here for lunch. It is right in the heart of the tourist area and very comfortable. I had a hamburger and my wife had a gyro. both were average with my hamburger having been slightly overcooked. We both had French fries which were also somewhat dry. Our server was very good, attentive without being a pest. Clearly this restaurant serves cheap frozen food with no flavor & zero imagination. Our server was named Maddi, who was nice but didn't make conversation. Basically she only said, "How were those first few bites", which was sooo annoying after the 2nd time. The wine was poured very messily and clearly the servers were not trained properly on how to hold plates. The one thing that did make our experience worthwhile though was the older lady who was hosting and clearing tables. She was very personable and cared a lot about the customers.

We went to Niagara on the lake with the family, we go every year and we love it there. We have never eaten there before because we usually end up driving to Niagara Falls for lunch. This year we decided to stay for lunch and went to Orzo. It was absolutely amazing. I got hamburger with fries and the other got hamburger wit a salad. We all loved what we ordered. Simple and tasty. I can't wait to go back to eat here. This will now be my go to place when we are there.

My wife, in laws, and I visited Orzo Restaurant in NOTL on Friday, August 11th, 2017. I ordered the seafood pasta. Overall, it was good. The sauce was very rich. I also had the opportunity to try some of my wife's gnocchi in a tomato sauce which I really liked. If you prefer a seafood pasta with a lighter finish, then I would not order this entree. The service and hospitality is excellent. We will visit again. Thanks Orzo!

We stopped here for a bite after the show. We ordered the mussels and they were delicious. Two people in our party has the seafood pasta which was rated average at best. One dish has plenty of sauce and the other was "dry". The fish and chips was good and the salmon dish was tasty but the portion was on the small side. We were glad we found this place. Great food. The arugula salad was yummy. Chicken skewers wer also great. Highly recommend this place.

Nice place with good service and food. I had fish and chips and my wife had the Reuben and both were great! Fries are excellent.
