It has been a long time coming for this review, as I first visited this restaurant over 5 years ago and always meant to leave a review, but time got in the way. After visiting again yesterday on a Thursday afternoon, the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, all with smiles on their faces. We ordered the Burger and a portion of dirty chips with cheese and mushrooms. Normally, chips from most pubs are not very good, but these were exceptional and well worth the price. The burgers were fantastic, full of proper meat. Additionally, instead of the usual Strongbow cider, they had Carling Cider on draft, which was a pleasant surprise. Hello, this is a complaint. It is clear that I have visited your restaurant in the past, but tonight will be the last. I purchased a cocktail from you that tasted awful, like something you would wash a toilet with. I asked the server to change it, but she refused to even check with anyone to see if it was possible. She simply stated that because I paid for it, that was the end of the matter. This is not a good attitude to have when the customer is always right. Additionally, the server could clearly see that the drink was full to the top. Great job, Osbournes, keep up the excellent service. Watch as this post gets shared by thousands.
Called in for breakfast as Osborne’s is one of the only places in Yarm to get a breakfast late morning on a Sunday. Unfortunately there were no vegan options on the menu so I chose to have beans on toast from the ‘extras’ section. Whilst ordering we explained I was vegan, however the toast came with butter and the green tea came with a side jug of milk. I just feel like a bit of training in dietary requirements would benefit the staff and the customers.
I had a very disappointing experience at the restaurant today, which is usually my go-to spot for breakfast. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast, but was disappointed to find that it was much smaller than I expected and did not include veggie sausages or tomatoes. Both my friend and I received fried eggs that were completely burnt and tasted terrible. Based on this experience, I don't think I will be returning for food in the future.

We randomly popped in here for lunch on our way to saltburn. We got a Philly steak sandwich a chicken club. They were served with lovely home made chips, salad coleslaw. We got a large americano a Diet Pepsi. The whole lot only came to £17 and was delicious. Polite friendly staff too, will definitely return
Extremely disappointing experience at Osbournes. Refused entry as a smartly dressed male wearing shorts on a warm day, despite women in short dresses and skirts being allowed in. Clearly a sexist policy that denigrates men in shorts and objectifies women—would recommend people avoid until this is rectified.
Very friendly welcome, fast and efficient service. Hearty full English breakfast with toast and tea included in the price. At £20 for the two of us my wife and I think that Osborne's is excellent value for money, the super friendly and helpful staff are a bonus, well done and thanks for a great breakfast.
Lovely polite staff, very friendly and efficient.. I had meals here on several occasions my recent meal was a regular breakfast. Asked for a poached egg it was done to perfection. The pub it self has a warm friendly atmosphere. Great bonus it’s dog friendly too

We love Osbournes and visit regularly. Unfortunately though, instead of the delicious old-school chips you now get deep-fried potato wedges. They're just not the same. Please bring back the proper chips! Cheers
Pretty much like any bar except the vibe and the atmosphere is just electric. Staff are brilliant and in my mind that is what always makes for a great pub. Live music is back and rocks Richard
