Amazing hosts! Came over from NZ with my fiancés family, and they’d booked us in mentioning I was coming from New Zealand and he went out of his way to get a traditional Nz flag so he could fly it for me specifically. Absolute gentleman, and passionate about people you can’t help but smile, and want to return. The hospitality industry is missing more people like the business owners here. Food was also amazing! The service at this restaurant is amazing, with a lovely young staff. The chef even gave us double scallop starters, and all the food was great. We will definitely return! The price per person is around £50-£60. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Scampi Chips Peas, Egg and Chips, and Dusted Calamari.

We came here with a friend for a Sunday roast as we had been told it was good.Wow....Huge , perfectly cooked meal,love the way it was brought out on a platter.And love the fact that you are encouraged to take your leftovers home.Had a lovely roast beef sandwich for tea!Staff are always friendly,and there's a good laid back atmosphere.Can't wait to return.

The restaurant is located in a charming old building filled with character. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. Prices range from £10 to £20 per person. Last night my family had dinner at the wine bar (with my mum, dad, aunt, and uncle). We experienced exceptional service, delicious food, a fantastic atmosphere, all at a great value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant. Rating: Food 5/5, Service 5/5, Atmosphere 5/5.

Oscars is quite simply the best place to eat and drink in the area. The food is outstanding and excellent value. The wines are good and the atmosphere is the best. Staff are welcoming and the Guv'nor is running a really good house. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Love this little gem, don’t be afraid to venture in. Lovely atmosphere, all staff have a can do attitude. Drinks, food and service fab. We will be back to try more of the menu.
