Family members had recommended coming to the Osteria del Corso for a truly excellent Italian culinary experience. So I took a couple of visiting international colleagues there recently and I can confirm that this is a great place. We parked behind the Aral petrol station...across the road and our first impressions on entering this establishment were already positive. The decor is pleasantly up market and the reception from the staff behind the bar was warm and welcoming despite our not having a reservation. Hubby and I were looking forward to dine at the Trattoria Enoteca but our hotelier insisted that we have no need to reserve since they always double book each table...how wrong was that! We arrive and no place was available , the hotel front desk...went our of their way to look for an alternative and recommended us this wonderful place. Since we were driving it too us mins to get there , the restaurant was almost full but they found a quiet corner table for us and our large doggy companion. I took two dishes from their recommendation , hubby did pasta and meat. All perfectly and deliciously cooked. Our most impressive part of the meal was the Italian wine recommendation. Quality ingredients, great portions, spot on customer service. We tried the Emiliana pizza which looks enormous but is just the right portion for a person who brought an appetite and pasta with squid, prawns and amazing mix of Italian goodness. The mixed starters were a...delight to share and try too. We will definitely recommend and we would love to come back soon. If you are searching for a good place to have nice dinner, this is definitely a good pick. Changing menu with daily specialities. Nice atmosphere. And even if you are in hurry, worth if you only go to pick up the pizza. Very good, nice...service and also quite fast. Try it you will not regret it. But call beforehand and reserve a table. Now you know about this place, but you are not alone.

We went there for several birthday dinners. Everybody enjoyed the a la card dinner and not any complaint from our guests were received! Will go there more often in future !
