"We decided on a Savoury Tea for Two. It was tasty and nicely presented. I’m disappointed the price has gone up by £2.50 since we last had it a few months ago. We know prices have risen but this climb is not justified in our opinion. A shame and puts us off returning."

We went to otterton Mill today and booked a table for 4 people at 2pm .we arrived promptly. And was seated at reserved table 4 cream teas was ordered and brought over within 10 mins or so .upon receiving said cream teas the scones were very very dry not fresh in any way shape or form the clotted cream served in ramekins was crusty and in 1 solid lump .we spoken to the waitress that was serving us informing her that the cream was solid n crusty and the scones were not fresh stale n dry .the reply we had was a shrug of the shoulders and just walked away after calling her over again to ask for fresh ones we were told they are all the same .so we finished up being very disappointed and will not be back again .we are a local family and a very disappointed family that will not be spending and more time at otterton mill .

The Mill complex itself is well worth the visit. The farm shop is wonderful but yes, expensive but you do get what you pay for. The Bakery is excellent and the tea and cakes are lovely, parking is always easy and it’s dog friendly too. I think perhaps they could do more with the irritating wasps situation in the courtyard but the best thing ever is their fish and chips on a Friday night. No one does it better, no one.!

We loved lunch here! The parking was a bit tricky since it was so busy and we were lucky to be able to get a table right away. The food was delicious, especially the ploughmans we ordered. There were some bees around, but thankfully they left us alone after the table nearby got their cream tea haha. It was a milling day, so that was fun and we enjoyed the shop as well as the farm store. A really great visit!

Lovely lunch here as always, the bread is fantastic and the sandwich is very filling. We managed to sit at a table in between reservations, which were written down on a sign placed at the table. It was also a milling day by chance, so it made for a very interesting visit.
