Outback Jacks Bar & Grill

We were treated by very cheerful staff, shown to our seat, ordered drinks and garlic bread. All arrived rather quickly, ordered our mains and waited, waited, waited, the children were getting anxious, we took them outside for a walk around. Our meals eventually arrived, husband ordered Fillet Mignon-medium, it was just off black but he said it was ok, 2 of us ordered rump Neptune steak-medium, one was slightly rare in places the other well done, dry and both were cold, well just warm. Children's meals were devoured before we even saw them so can't comment on them. Rather an expensive disappointing night.

My husband and I paid over $90 for 2 Corona's and Surf n Turf each.The steak was without a doubt one of the worst we've ever had, small and full of fat. The sauce was a drizzle of an unknown tasteless white liquid on top.We rarely leave bad reviews but this was truly a waste of our time and money.Wait staff were friendly enough, obviously embarrassed by the quality of food served by the kitchen.Please don't be tempted.

The steaks weren't cooked how we asked, all the food was 2out of 10 very disappointing. They had heaps of staff on but the staff were to busy huddled in the corner talking. After trying to get the bill 3 times I went off at the manager / owner in front of other people and not even that got the bill to us. Finally we decided to walk out , they got the bill to us then. Absolutely hopeless service.

Overpriced, disorganised, and less than average food. $35 for 4 reasonably tasteless, fatty ribs and a handful of chips. Never again!

Average. Not coping with the numbers of customers. Very slow service. Steaks a bit too dry for my liking
