To visit this restaurant you must have a car because is in the suburbs, we had a friend who took us there and it was a great experience! This is the typical German restaurant he said and it really was unforgettable. The carpaccio was outstanding with a touch of sweet balsamic glaze. My main course was so delicious, it was a filet with cheese on top with cranberries. OMG!!! I had never tried so many different tastes all together. The restaurant seems to have all sorts of different rooms for different activities, we sat at the lovely patio with great weather! Visit this amazing and romantic place!

The food is so-so. Rather big portions heavy on the meaty side. I had white asparagus, which was quite good. Others at the table had all kinds of meat, mainly pork. Pork might be the better choice, the lamb shank looked overcooked and covered with a sauce of unknown origin. Nobody at our table got their steak cooked as they wanted it. Overcooking seems to be the standard here,

Ate here with a family celebration . The service is impeccable and the menu both food and wine are extensive , generous of portion and well executed. The restaurant also has a patisserie with some wonderful choices , sells its own label wines and other goods . Well worth a visit and I suspect needs to be booked in advance .

An absolutely wonderful restaurant outside Dortmund. The building was stylish and very open with large windows in the outer section. Service prompt, courteous, and knowledgable. I had the pork escalope on toast with mushroom sauce and a salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. And dinner was reasonably priced for the quality. Reserva una mesa ahora

On old german fashion restuarant with the best cook of making duck. Typical duck meal in the fall time with all the side dishes , must have if your are at that time in Dortmund or in germany. Even the cake and dessert is one of the best. Overkamp has a delicous little store to get all the little goodies for home .

I attended a family celebration there and they have nice rooms with natural light to do this in. The waiters are attentive. They were even remembering the brand of beer I was drinking despite me moving tables. It is a family run business which has been around for a long time and rightly so. Go and try it out.

15 of us had 3 tables in a private room. Setting was lovely. wines were very good. Meal was pre-set and very tasty. Family style appetizers (tomato and mozzarella were especially good). Fish was well prepared. Recommended

We organised our daughters first Birthday here and what a service! Child friendly great atmosphere. Afterwards we had our dinner with a great German Kitchen! A real place where they know what Hospitality should look like. Reserva una mesa ahora

Lovely lunch Saturday with the family, we normally go for Sunday lunch but it doesn't matter which day it's always pleasant with pod staff and a wide choice of food. Check out the cakes to take home.

What a lovely place, excellent food, service very good and facilities to entertain the youngsters too. Well worth a visit for anyone within driving driving distance.
