Let's start with the positives - in an area with no less than 147 Indian restaurants - it is refreshing to see a traditional Italian restaurant. Pizza was good. Let's be honest it's hard to be blown away by pizza. Good selection of pizzas with some fancy words on the menu that must mean they are traditional. I felt like a pasta but with limited menu items (with the exception of pizza) I ended up ordering - you guessed it - a pizza. Service was top notch and friendly. Parking can be a little tricky. Good food - not great - good ambience. Oh and happy Mother's Day!

It's exciting to have a delicious dining venue in the West that can cater for couples, small families and larger parties. Great pizzas, an amazing lasagne that nonna would make, hard to resist whitebait and appetizers, chicken parmi / schnitzel and excellent wine, good beer selection and the most amazing donuts!! We have eaten here on a stifling hot night, a very cold day and mid week for lunch, each visit has been as good as our first. We shall be back!

I went to Ovest 2 weeks ago and they got one of the pizza orders incorrect. They made another one immediately and said it was free of charge. I did not expect that at all. Anyway, not only was the service amazing, the pizza was absolutely delicious. Honestly, the best pizza in the west. My sister

Looking for a good pizza place in Footscray. I think we found it. Authentic pizza with great vegetarian selections. Not a lot else on the menu other than pizza however and deserts on the expensive side. Worth a try. Reserva una mesa ahora

These could arguably be the best pizzas in Melbourne. I have had so many pizzas from all around Australia and the world and some have been great (some not so great) but these are up there with the best!

Good vegetarian options as well as takeaway wines. Were fairly accommodating of a late arrival though it was at the expense of being able to try desserts.

I have been to Ovest now a few times and it keeps getting better. The prawn pizza was delish and the donuts - finger licking good!

The desert was so good that we went back twice in a week. Pumpkin pizza and mushroom pizza was great. Nice atmosphere.
