With my colleague on the early Thursday evening. When we arrived, we said we were supposed to sit somewhere, so we sat back and were quickly greeted by our server. He told us that we scan the Qr code to display the menu and also the TV for the beer options. He also offered samples of every beer we want to try. I wanted something refreshing, so I had the guava beer (6.50 dollars for a glass). It was sour, but a refreshing beer with about 5.4 alcohol content. It was right for me. For my entree I went with the steak and fish tacos (4.50 per taco). It was a decent size taco with plenty of meat and toppings. Both came with a sauce that improves the flavors. Should have bought a taco as the portions were on the smaller size. Service was friendly, fast and helpful. When tapping, our server has the portable card reader and we could add the tips and the shield directly from the reader. The atmosphere was typical bar style with many TVs and standard pop music. There were windows to see the brewery, but the area was private and I am uncertain when tours are offered. The restaurant is located in the Oviedo Mall, which only survives from the theatre, arcade, restaurants and dillards. The mall was not crowded at all, and the restaurant was still there. Overall, this is a good place to have craft beer and bar food. I wish there were more menu choices than the typical bar appetizers, and tacos or burgers. The prices were on the higher side, so I would like to see more offers. However, I come back if I want to enjoy a nice drink when I stay at the mall.
We stopped by Oviedo Brewing Company after walking thru Taste of Oviedo this afternoon. It's a nice place. They had a live band a pretty good one I might add), and some good beers. We ordered some snacks the big pretzel and cajun chips) to munch on. They were good too. It seems like a good place to catch a game and have a few cold ones. I will be going back.
The beer is excellent to fit with service. That they also have a really good kitchen and a really nice physical room is honest gravy. Dog-friendly terrace, can and breeders/cracker take, tons of seating and plentiful, but somehow unobtrusive TV. Host an event, go on a date, watch a game, or just take a beer and a pulpit, you are here in good hands.
What a great place for a Brew and Chew! Ideal for adults and families. The atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and their beers are you will definitely check if you are nearby. You will not be disappointed! My daughter and I recommend their pizzas, they were amazing.
