Paccata Thai Kitchen

I had high hopes based on reviews here and elsewhere but sadly I was disappointed. While it 's great that their Deliveroo menu has a separate vegan section, it was perhaps a bad choice for delivery as most dishes didn 't tolerate the delay from kitchen to plate well. Sweetcorn cakes were stodgy and lacking any kaffir lime leaf zing. Salt and pepper fine beans had formed a battery clag and didn 't live up to their 'spicy ' marking. Tofu is a welcome addition to the menu since the earlier review but the tofu salad a chef 's recommendation comprised big chunks of raw veggies and dry tofu and a too small although tasty satay sauce which was too thick to act as a dressing, where we 'd imagined more of a zingy shredded salad with herbs and dressing. Phad Thai vegetable another chef 's recommendation was an uninspiring clag of noodles. The chargrilled aubergine with Panang sauce was the most successful dish but also in contrast to an earlier review lacked any chilli heat. The quest for storming Thai food in north London goes on...

Updated Review 2021: Its now 2021 and sadly since my original review the quality here just isn't as good as it used to be. It just isn't as spicy, doesn't feel fresh and in all honesty made me feel rather unwell. I would now rate it 2 out of 5 Original 4 star review in 2019: We have eaten here three times and on each occasion the food is fresh and the service attentive. Ask for the Vegan menu and you will get a whole menu to choose from, rather than just a couple of token additions! It really is delightful and the food is excellent! they do not have their vegan menu in the window or to say a statement, they have a separate menu that is a scandal. we had a common starter that was yam and two noodle dishes that were not so delicious but beautiful. tofu would have been a happy bonus!

Really enjoyed thr flavour of the food on the vegan menu. The ONLY thing is that none of the dishes have tofu. Like if the curries or noodles had tofu it would be a banging 10/10

really nice Thai place with a vegan menu and a gluten-free menu. the staff was very friendly and the food was quickly served.
