We started with an excellent crab cake appetizer, and our server was very helpful in guiding us through the wine choices. My husband was eager to enjoy a fantastic steak for his birthday dinner, but we were a bit unfamiliar with the different ribeye cuts available. Personally, I usually opt for filet mignon when I do cook steaks, so I tend to prefer tenderness. While the bone-in ribeye was flavorful, it was a bit too tough for our liking. We visited for the first time last night to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. Every dish was expertly prepared and had a distinctly unique flavor. If you enjoy an overpowering saltiness in your meals, then this might be the place for you. It seems the chef didn't hold back on the salt, and unfortunately, it overshadowed everything else in the dishes. After just one bite, my taste buds were overwhelmed. I definitely won’t be returning. What a fantastic discovery! The Australian Black Opal Filet Mignon was absolutely delicious and is a must-try. The owner even stopped by to check on us and introduced himself, which was a nice touch! We will definitely return!
