Pacino's - Reservar una mesa

During a brief stay in Chester, my husband and I came across this restaurant on TripAdvisor. The ambiance was pleasant and the waitress was friendly. We opted for a reasonably priced bottle of barolo and enjoyed our starters. However, my husband's chicken was average and my pasta marinara was disappointing. The dish was described on the menu as containing prawns, mussels, and squid, but I found only a small amount of flavorless prawns and mussels, along with two rubbery, unidentifiable pieces that I assumed to be squid. Additionally, the dish was filled with cheap seafood sticks instead of the promised seafood. The tomatoes and garlic were barely cooked and lacked flavor. For the price of £1...

I returned to Pacinos for the second time and once again, I was impressed by the excellent service and food. The sea bass was delicious, generous in portion, and cooked perfectly. The steak was also cooked exactly as I requested, which is sadly not always the case at other places. The sticky toffee pudding was very good, as well as the rhubarb panna cotta. I highly recommend a visit to Pacinos, as it is just a few minutes walk from the center of Chester.

Great food. Great service. Ok it was quiet on a Monday evening but everything just worked. Asked for a little bit more time between starter and main. Was no problem for them. Highly recommend this restaurant. I’m a foody and that’s the main criteria. Second to that is service. Both stars. Next time we are in Chester we will definitely be back.

The restaurant served delicious food, but it was very crowded. We had to return a drink because it was served in a dirty glass with a chip in it. They brought us the same glass, now clean but still with the chip. If a glass is chipped, it should be thrown out. Despite this mistake, the food was still delicious.

Great food and service as always! Always lots of choice, good wine list and perfectly cooked....thank you!! Never disappointed, and regularly have a variation in the menu and midweek fixed menu too
