get early for the game and decided to try this cafe. not long after the cafe was full and it was difficult to get a place. they have to order at the counter and there is a lot of choice. you take your drinks when you order and eat it to your table. the service was fast, but eating was average and overpriced. we ate our food quickly and left for another bar so that others could sit down and eat. this was a good sound to escape the wet weather and have something to eat and drink. we will try this place again and order something else, hopefully on a quieter day.
Attended here before the Hawthorn v Essendon game in May. Good choice of food. Maybe a bit pricey, but you get that inside a sports stadium. The flathead tails and chicken wrap where very nice. It does get busy so try to go before the...rush times to get a seat. Take away is available if there are no seats.
I really enjoyed the sausage roll of the day and chips. My son had the Katsu chicken meal. This cafe is reasonably priced and offers high quality food in generous portions. It was a great way to end our visit to the MCG.
GREAT casual food in a relaxed area quiet with no rushing . I don't think there was 87000 people there as we got our drinks immediately and food was 3 minutes later !!! Fish n chips and a decent hamburger..

Loved a quiet lunch while watching ground preparation work for the up coming cricket season. The food was great with good vegetarian options and the price was quite reasonable for the quality of food.
Very pleasant environment with reasonably quick service. Our lunch of roast beef baguette & the Korean chicken burger was very tasty. Prices are pretty much on par with other cafe's in the area
We stayed for lunch after our MCG Tour. It was good and the service was fine. I just think it's over-priced. If you can hang out until you're back in the city it might be easier on your wallet.
They have visited this restaurant several times after the Melbourne Marathon. The coffee is delightful and they were very impressed by the quick service.

Food is fine probably one of the better options at the G, but a bit overpriced, I guess thats what you get for the location, atmosphere is fun.
Should provide a service for the whole AFL game and not treat AFL supported poorly MCG should seek another service provider
