Padellino - Reserva de mesa

Considering we were headed to the Italy the following day, I was amused (and a bit confused) when our local host brought us to dinner at Padellino. That being said, it was a fun Italian meal complete with good food, wine and excellent company. There are two sections of the restaurant and our large group occupied half of the back dining room which became a semi-private space. While most of our group ordered Antipasti, soup and salad, I just focused on my entree, a baked pasta dish (Penne Paesana mit Fleischsoße und Béchamelsoße). The restaurant in the center of Ettlingen, goes for meditarrean style food, tapas, pizza, pasta an some more elaborated dishes. If have being several times in the restaurant, alone, with family and with business relations. depending of the time you will have good food or you will have lesser quality of cooking. The wine selection is ok and the budget for this is aceptable. I would not recommend this restaurant for important lunches or diners, bt as a quick-need to eat. something it could work.

I was sitting here on my own business trip and was made to feel welcome. the restaurant was recommended by my staff and also by the reception in the nearby hotel engl. due to a large group with a award ceremony in the back rooms there was a limited menu available. at the end I had a large quattro formaggi pizza with additional mushrooms! for all €9. great. and the house red was 4,50 € per large glass. beautiful place, nice people, nice eating and beautiful prices recommended.

I understand that Padellino is under new management, which is of no much relevant to me as I was there for the first time. I had the wild garlic (Bärlauch) soup and agnolotti on lamb ragout, which were both very, very nice, even though small servings. The calzone and everything else seemed to be nice, too. A group of us went to Padallino during a recent visit to Ettlingen. The food was flavorful and light, unlike most American Italian restaurants. Service and prompt and friendly. It seems to be a favorite of the locals as it was bursting by 8:30 pm. I highly recommend the antipasti and the salads.

Sit outside and watch the crowds go by. Enjoy basic but tasty italian food - at a very reasonable prices. Service could be a little more attentive outside on the terrasse - but overall good. The pizzas are fine - not like in Rome but good anyway.

Love this place. Been several times. Staff is so nice and personable and the food is very good. I love the Mistro, difference everytime but so good. My husband loves the spagetti and we enjoy the pizzas.

Good pizza, good pasta and any Italian dishes are delicious. Not high class cooking but tasting. Very nice garden to sit outside in summer time. Even with roof to sit outside when it rains. Reserva una mesa ahora

As paying customers you would expect a friendlier reception than we had in Padellino. But the gnocchio with gorgonzola cheese sauce was very nice and a very large portion. Good value.

The kitchen offers genuine Italian food, also seasonal food, good wines and kind service. Nice terrace during summer time.
