Padrino's Draft House Grille

The restaurant didn't have any signage indicating that it was open, and as I approached, I was struck by an unpleasant odor. I noticed people smoking inside, and I felt their stares as they pointed and laughed, making me feel out of place. It seemed to cater primarily to a Hispanic crowd, offering only Mexican beer, and I didn't feel welcomed as someone who isn't Hispanic. The atmosphere felt very exclusive. As a person of Black and Japanese descent, I sensed that I wasn't accepted there. The staff seemed relieved when I asked if they only had beer and decided to leave. It's never a good sign when the crowd looks happier to see you go than to welcome you in.

As a Black and Japanese individual, I certainly didn’t feel welcome. They seemed relieved when I asked if it was just beer, thanked them, and decided to leave. It’s a bad sign when the crowd appears to be happier when you exit than when you enter.

Come in this bar from his sick, coldest beer in town, design beer bottle, bomb Mexican food from Tacos to hot wings, come and enjoy yourself, pool table, and you can be your own dj for the night. Look at it...
