Caught in traffic on a late Friday afternoon, I was starving. I pulled off the parkway and happened upon Paella Tapas Wine Bar Restaurant in downtown Norwalk, a city I had never been to before. I arrived before they opened for dinner but they kindlyseated me anyway. The waitperson helped me order a glass of wine which turned out to be a delicious Rioja rated 92 by WineSpectator. 2016 Marques de Caceres Reserva. Even at $15 a glass, a really good value and a welcome surprise. I ordered a saladwith roasted red pepper, mozzarella, tomatoes and olive oil served over fresh, crisp lettuce. I ordered a tapas dinner for my parents as a present and they loved every single dish. I placed the order over the phone and it was delivered promptly. (Note their delivery minimum). It was great to give my parents this treat even though we are nottogether IRL right now. Thank you for the professional service and delicious food. This restaurant has been a family favoritefor years. We even had my father's 60th birthday party in their cellar a few moons ago. I look forward to visiting again inperson one day soon.
The restaurant itself is incredibly clean, and looks perfectly maintained. Service was friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly. Couple issues: tapa dishes were mainly spiced with salt and pepper, without enough flavor beside that. Pear salad wasvery very good, just wish they'd use a little less oil. That said if you haven't tried this place yet it's definitely worthgoing to.
Yesterday I was at an amazing bridal shower at Paella Tapas.The only real word for this amazing venue is FABULOUS! The decor is beautiful. The food...omg,amazing. The service and attention to detail was flawless. Can't wait to come back. What a perfect dayit was.

The service is very poor. He messed up two things that I ordered and I was only one person at a table. He never once came over to the table to see if I needed anything and he didn’t even write down my order properly. The food was spectacular service horrible
Food and staff were average at best. Ordered a churrasco and some low quality steak came out (definitely not a skirt steak). Food overpriced for what you get (low quality). Atmosphere was fine and restaurant looked clean.
Paella is always greet! Service great. All the Tapas choices fantastic! And the best Paella in the area! When leave always thinking about next time back!

Easily the best Spanish restaurant in the area and by a mile. Every dish was full of flavor and cooked perfectly.
Really enjoyed the dining experience. Food was delicious, the wait- staff very friendly.
