Pagenhaus Schloss Friedenstein

We wanted to crown the visit of Schloss Friedenstein with a delicious dinner in a cozy place. After studying Google’s reviews, only a restaurant was considered, the Pagenhaus. Of course, there is always a certain scepticism as to whether the expectations can also be met locally by the many words of praise in the web. But at the entrance to the venerable house, joy came up immediately, as the rooms are very appealing. We were allowed to decide whether we would like to take a seat outside or inside, with the option (if it would be too fresh in the garden) to change immediately. However, women gave immediate understanding that they prefer warmth. So it quickly went to our place and all were directly done by the well-being atmosphere in the great space. Our waiter was flotted and friendly on the way, so nobody had to suffer thirst. The menu could be quickly folded back on my side, as the oxen bags had no competition to fear in the selection. The anticipation of the Gaumenschmaus was great and was not disappointed. The price we had to pay after completing our amusement was fully in line with the performance we had received. We were allowed to decide whether we would like to sit outside or inside, with the option (if it got too cold in the garden) to switch immediately. However, the women immediately indicated that they prefer warmth. So we went quickly to our place and everyone was immediately impressed by the feel-good atmosphere in the great space. Our waiter was quick and friendly, so no one had to go thirsty. I was able to quickly close the menu again, since the ox cheeks had no competition to fear in the selection. The anticipation of the culinary delight was great and was not disappointed. The price we had to pay after completing our amusement was fully in line with the service we had received. Unscheinbar von außen, innen sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Bedienung und das Essen waren sehr gut. Ich mit meiner Gluten Allergie konnte gefühlt nach 20 Jahren endlich mal wieder ein Schnitzel natürlich Glutenfrei essen. Also dort ist alles Glutenfrei möglich. Wenn man vorher anruft, bekommt man auch ein glutenfreies Bitburger Kellerbier. Inconspicuous from the outside, very tastefully decorated inside. The service and the food were very good. After 20 years, I with my gluten allergy could finally eat a naturally gluten-free schnitzel again. Everything is gluten-free there. If you call ahead, you can also get a gluten-free Bitburger Kellerbier.

We were on our short trip to Gotha at the Pagenhaus Lunch. We were received very friendly and with a lot of Klamauk. Our waiter U. was a real rage. It was a lot of fun. And with that came the wonderful food. We had different dishes and all were very satisfied. Tastefully everything very good and sufficient. To finish an espresso, and also my favorite coffee. There is also a very nice garden area where you can dine outdoors. Pure sun when sun shines. There is also an excellent gin that you can buy there. This is something extraordinary and regional. Very delicious.

We had a table reserved by phone. This is also advisable because the restaurant is very well visited. The ambience and location is very beautiful. The service is friendly and always striving. The menu is good civic and the food is fine. When the restaurant is fully occupied, it becomes loud and since it is quite tight, it becomes also unpleasant. Very much better in this case is the terrace when the weather fits. All in all, it's a very nice restaurant regarding the quality and taste of food, our expectations were too high.

Unfortunately, that was the worst cattle routine I've ever had... and that was probably 50. Very small, strange taste, 2 clichés also tiny and like the red herb totally boring. Ochsenbäckchen was with the same supplements. These were tastefully better but also very clear of weight. Ambience is very beautiful. Waiter was kind until he got his tip. No thanks, then only the least said...no idea if he had expected 20% for his 3 questions and ways
