Highly recommended. Never had French food before here. Atmosphere was awesome. Claudia up front is warm and welcoming. I was extremely impressed. Philippe in the back is a Genius. My wife had the lamb chops which I've never personally had before, why I do not know? Being a steak guy I could of sworn it was and/or was better than a filet mignon. I had a scallops special. Everything was cooked perfectly. The desert you can tell were made all fresh and with fresh ingredients. We will certainly be bac.
Have been coming to this Mom-and-Pop restaurant since the late 90s. Food is authentic French cuisine (portions are small) and very tasty. I suggest trying their tasting menu. Place is not spacious, with about 8 tables. You can being your own bottle of wine. Staff is very friendly. Easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway.
My husband takes me here when we want to splurge on a nice dinner, and every time it's been amazing. I don't know what Philippe does to vegetables to make them more delicious than they are anywhere else. My favorite dish has to be the rack of lamb, but I haven't had a meal here that wasn't thoroughly satisfying.
This place never disappoints! The food was delicious, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Don't even think about skipping dessert. Very charming ambiance, but a little tight to call it truly romantic. I would go every week, if I had the means.

Beautiful cozy place! Loved the escargot,French onion soup and brie-mozzarella appetizers. The duck was great and the fish assortment was an experience to be repeated. Desserts we tried were delicious caramelized banana and the trio with creme brulee!
Great place to eat dinner and just have a nice experience with the food , on thing i would recommend is that on weekends to make a reservations for early in the day before 7 pm to beat the rush hour.
Greatest French food around. The Chef is truly a man that knows his craft. BYOB and there's a liquor store across the street so it's no problem if you forget.
Fantastic food, very friendly staff, constantly awesome atmosphere. They charge reasonable rates and the food quality is excellent. Kudos.

Le Rendez-Vous is simply the best of the best. Philippe is a master chef, Claudia the consummate hostess.
Very quaint, unique place. The service was great and the food was delicious.
