Painter's Homemade Ice Cream

During our recent trip to Myrtle Beach, we treated ourselves to lots of ice cream! We visited several spots, but we kept returning to Drippy's Homemade Ice Cream. The ice cream is unbelievably creamy and has just the right amount of sweetness. The staff were extremely patient as we pondered the many options available (there are so many!). Drippy's is the perfect summer indulgence to cool off! Our favorites were the banana pudding ice cream (absolutely a must-try!) and the Oreo Surprise, which includes layers of Oreo ice cream, hot fudge, and Oreo chunks. Treat yourself and visit for a delightful experience! My family and I have been coming here for years and have never had a negative experience, especially when it comes to the flavors. You'll want to sample them all, but I highly recommend the black cherry in a waffle cone—it always brings me back to childhood. The staff works diligently to get you through the occasionally long line, always with a smile. Once you've chosen your favorite, you can enjoy it on their deck while taking in the ocean view, or like us, take it to go.

We spent three weeks on vacation in Myrtle Beach, and during our stay, we indulged in this incredible ice cream six times! I tried the toasted coconut flavor each and every time, and I can't stop thinking about it now that I'm home. I would gladly go back just to have this ice cream again—it's really that fantastic! The service is excellent as well. If you're in the area, you absolutely have to give this place a try; you won't regret it!

I adore their ice cream, but I walked 0.75 miles while pregnant, only to discover that the building is no longer there, despite confirming the hours on Google. Please update your hours so that others don’t have the same experience until you find a new location! Reserva una mesa ahora

Our family has loved this local gem for over 10 years. The highlight of the menu is definitely the red velvet cake ice cream – it's absolutely delicious! Don't forget to try their chocolate fudge cake as well; it's a must!

I spent $35 on ice cream and left a $5 tip. However, just two minutes later, when I asked for a cup of water, I was told it would cost 75 cents. While the ice cream was tasty, the service left much to be desired.
