Having just relocated to Albany from Europe, I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming both the staff and the regulars were, making me feel right at home—quite a contrast to other bars I’ve visited. The atmosphere is fantastic for anyone who appreciates old-school dive bars. The jukebox features actual discs, which is one of the best pieces of Americana I've encountered so far. There are plenty of options for pool and darts, and the back porch is a lovely spot to enjoy during the summer months. Overall, I would rate this bar a perfect 10 out of 10!
The drink menu here is both intriguing and dependable. There's a cozy little patio in the back, along with a pool table for some added fun. One of the standout features of this bar is its late closing time of 4 AM. Another great aspect is the atmosphere; it's never overly loud or empty, making it easy to have a nice conversation without feeling cramped. Plus, their chorizo empanadas are excellent!
I visited the restaurant on Friday night, September 3rd, around 9 PM, and I have to say, the two bartenders were amazing. They were attentive and funny, even while handling a busy rush. They made great eye contact and worked really hard. I ordered a round of shots, and they were delicious. Thank you, Sam, and sending good vibes to Karma!
This is a welcoming neighborhood bar with a friendly atmosphere. They serve the natural, non-forced carbonated Utica Club beer, which is a nice touch. There's a pool table for some casual fun, and the vibe is relaxed—no loud gangsta rap playing here. It's a safe and inviting place to unwind.

Great dive bar hidden on the midtown streets of Albany. Relatively quiet during the afternoon but business picks up at night. Great place to go for a quiet drink with some buddies and watch sports. Food is standard bar food, pretty much what you would expect at a place like this.
Eclectic CD jukebox, although I miss the old '45 jukebox. The day bartender, was gracious and cool. And the new night bartender was sweet and attentive. The only problem: a thimble of rye cost $10.
A quiet dive bar with a big personality, it's much more laid back than most of the bars in the area. The mixed drinks are really good and they serve a few reasonably priced snacks at the bar.
If you're in search of the entire DVD box set of the Lance Henriksen TV show Millennium, this is definitely the place to go.
