overall the experience was disappointing. I do not think that a fine restaurant should show customers a menu where the dinges are not available, like the duck for 2. the decor is more that of a casual caffe than a fine restaurant. the service lacked in terms of filling wine and mineral water up to the point where it was almost unconventional, as our waiter could not find our mineral water and went from station to station to search it. the food was delicious and interesting, but the portions very small calculated for the prices.

The best dining experience of my life, including the best meal I have had in my life!! The cuttlefish dish in the tasting menu was simply astonishing. The professional and friendly service matched the calibre of cuisine and the perfectly comfortable restaurant. Well done, Palette, HOTA and the Gold Coast! We will be back!

Ordered the lobster BLT for entree and rump steak with potatoes as a side. Note there is no bun for the BLT but waiter advised me of that before I ordered. The BLT was delicious, as was the steak. Potatoes were a little on the hard side but otherwise good. One of the best restaurants on the Gold Coast.

eating was the next stage, not experienced quality as this in a long time. any court declared by the waiter. sommelier for help at wein. restaurant for special occasions!
