very fast. eating is good, old-fashioned cafe food. it is tasty with beautiful portions. the tables are quickly cleaned and the staff is friendly and efficient. had been two times and would probably have been more often if I had discovered it earlier in my vacation. I had a bacon sandwich for the first time or a barm as they say here. really well cooked. the second time I had eggs and chips and my son had a cheeseburger. his burger was beautiful with a lot of cheese and wobble. my ice and chips were good. my only criticism is that the tee at £3,40 for a pot for 2 is quite expensive and the chips had a funny taste that was hardly noticeable, I am not sure what caused it but put it on the oil.

Brilliant on all counts! Fresh food, tasty, good prices. Would thoroughly recommend. Wayne Ramwell Senior Tutor at the University of Manchester, School of Law; Policy Assistant for a Member of Parliament (MP)

this is an authentic, classic 70s style caffe, served traditional British cuisine. the staff is friendly and helpful. the decor is great and eating is excellent. a visit is only worth to go back in time.
