Love me this vintage hole in the wall. I have been coming here since I was a kid and though it has been through some rough patches (pun intended) there has been a huge turn around in cleanliness and maintenance so that a person might actually enjoy eating there in more recent years. I have never had anything bad here but the mushroom soup is the best I’ve ever had. My grandma raves about the chicken soup. My usual is the Nashville hot chicken sandwich but the last time I went I had them do the Nashville hot with the pickerel fish sandwich and it was also outstanding. Food was all good and were good. Music was good 70s too 90s playing . Nice decoration s. Nice staff not handicap friendly. Bathroom supper small .but clean I been driveing buy this place for 40 years . And tride it was a good time for our first time. Bluewater transit trolley tour. Told about historical porthuron. I say try it you may like it too.

Local restaurant known for chicken dinners and other comfort food. Servers are knowledgeable and friendly. This place has been around for a long time, with a loyal customer base (I don’t live in the area, but make a point of eating here when passing through Pt. Huron). It’s a busy place.

Everything was delicious as usual!!! I've been eating the food here for years but mostly carryout, it's even better when you dine in. Love the cream of mushroom soup!

Maybe for others is a great place to eat,but because I have heart disease and cannot eat fried chicken or other fried meal ,there wasn't a big selection for me.
