We called in a take out order yesterday at 6:05 and was told your food will be ready at 6:30. My Wife gets there at 6:45. Every 10 minutes she’s told by the staff that “they’re making it now and it will be out in a few minutes”. Long story short, the food wasn’t ready until 7:45. Am I supposed to believe that this restaurant didn’t know that it couldn’t meet a 25 minute deadline when it took this order? And on Father’s Day no less? I’m quite sure they knew, they just decided to selfishly fatten their pockets and ruin our family’s dinner rather than be honest, upfront and forthright. Perhaps even worse, is that the food was horribly over salted and inedible. They didn’t even have the decency...
We visited early on Sunday afternoon, a slow time. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Our food was excellent, served propmply and well presented. The Quesadilla Tropical was delicious, with a generous amount of cheese, ham and pineapple. My chicken fajitas were generous and served with safrin rice, guacamole, sour cream, Pico de Gallo, refried beans and 4 tortillas. The Arroz con Camarones was huge with more shrimp than I could count. There was more than enough left over for another meal at home. La Panchita has made it to our go-to list for good food frendly service.
Placed an order to go tonight. Flouted came with no pick, no guacamole, no sour cream, and no cheese when i ordered extra cheese. Tried to call to resolve issue and nobody answers the phone. This was my favorite restaurant in Smithtown. Sad to say we won’t be ordering again
I usually get their sopa de ajo casera (homemade garlic soup . It is amazing, like no place else I've tried. And cheese enchiladas, excellent. (Here and Panchita Grill in Deer Park. (Their third location, in the next county, closed circa 2008.

Hidden gem, big food portions! Don't overlook this little place it's one of my favorites on the island I'm a vegetarian and they have plenty of options for me. don't underestimate their drinks they do NOT skimp out on alcohol! Salute!
DISLIKE BUTTON? Terrible food. Go to CVS across the street they have better food in their refrigerator.
I've been coming to place since I was a little girl. Still the same warm feeling every time I walk in.
