Do yourself a favour and treat yourself or a loved one to a meal or drink at this fantastic place, from the minute you walk in the door you are transported to a different place. I have been a few times now and tried most things on the menu - a highlight is the churro for dessert. Even ordering a drink is a feast for the eyes with talented bar tenders channelling Tom Cruise from Cocktail.Make sure you visit the loo if only just for the purpose to look around and walk up the tunnel which takes you out to a beer garden where small eats are served - yet to try this and most nights it's full!Cannot fault anything with this place and wish the owners much success
I am unable to give a fair review of this venue as I was seated among a large family group and could not eat with any degree of comfort, the staff were very efficient and friendly the food was extremely spicy which is in keeping with the theme of the restaurant but a bit too much for my taste. The stand out part of the evening was a visit to the toilet, they must be among the best in any restaurant in Hobart. If you visit do your research into the menu first in case it is too spicy for you. There is also an impressive range of Tequila, which I did enjoy.
The atmosphere was fine, but 2/3 courses were really lacking. The lamb chimichanga tasted burnt, the potatoes and brussel sprouts were actually pretty tasty, especially the brussel sprouts, the chicken tortillas are served on the tinyest of tortilla wraps making it very difficult to eat and didn't taste spectacular. The cocktails were poorly made, either tasting far too sweet or to acidic, there was no blanace. All in all, I should've stayed home and made myself mexican food for a tenth the price. Save yourself an evening and go to Frank.

Great service, huge tequila list, and prices no more expensive than a pub meal reallyLast nights food was not only a spread of amazing flavours, quality and quantity, every dish from the octopus to sides, to the market fish were beautifully presented as individual works of culinary art.!And the chocolate fondant for dessert, ohhh to die for. Sunday tAcos are $5 a pop and they are tasty. I had five! They have 6 different types. You must try the brisket, pork and ox tongue. I meant to take a photo but started chowing down instead. The music was very current, perfect for the mood and all in Spanish. Beer selection was decent, but the megroni (Mezcal negroni hybrid) was too sweet and a bit of a let down. Overall good time would definitely return.
We went to Pancho Villa just for a drink, and after having some $5 tacos we decided to eat there. Great food, Mexican with a twist, beautiful presentation and well trained and friendly staff. The menu did not state a few details we thought were important, but the staff and the owner were happy to hear feedback. And the atmosphere, stunning.

Went with a large group. Loved the decor and atmosphere. The food was delicious and we all really enjoyed the night. The staff coped well with the difficulties of serving a group of about 20 people.

Friends took us to the Villa for an evening meal. No problem, table was set and we were walked through the new menu. Our 4 year old grandson pick his from the description, well chosen.
Had a great evening last night. The service was faultless, food was great and quick coming out. Decor and layout were great. Try the Short Rib!!!
