I placed an order for two tortas and three potato tacos to go from Pancho's Tacos. When I arrived to pick up my food, the staff oddly asked if my tacos were deep-fried. Later at home, I realized I was given two hard-shell tacos instead of the ones I ordered, plus three dorados that were missing some ingredients. It was disappointing, especially after looking forward to trying items from their menu.
The prices felt a bit high for what you receive. I would recommend sticking to the daily special. The carne asada in the fajitas was tough and lacked flavor. The restaurant itself is small with limited seating. I wasn't even aware of the condiments until I saw someone else grab some, as they were tucked away in a covered metal container. I visited this restaurant after hearing rave reviews about the chorizo, but I found it disappointing. At Pancho's Tacos, the food was satisfactory, though somewhat pricey. Unfortunately, the woman who took my order was rather rude, seeming to assume I wouldn’t understand her Spanish just because I spoke it imperfectly or mispronounced a word. Despite this, the menu offered a good variety to choose from.
It's a fast-food restaurant, but the prices are surprisingly high. The food appears to be stale, and the overall cleanliness of the establishment is lacking. Considering the prices they charge, they should really offer better quality food.
The restaurant is quite small, but the food is absolutely delicious. I'm not sure why some people leave negative reviews; if you don't enjoy it, why not just keep quiet? Or perhaps try Taco Bell instead?
Since the pandemic, the quality of the food has declined, prices have increased, and the portions have gotten smaller. I believe I’ll just stick to cooking at home!
