Panda Dim Sum Cafe

Granted, I ordered takeaway so this review may not be a reflection of the establishment in its entirety. 1. Dim sum was great, we ordered the Shanghai buns and beef dumplings both were pleasing to the pallet. At least 4/5 for a London establishment. However, the noodles were completely bland and dry, both the DanDan noodles and the chicken noodles, the chicken had zero flavour and was as dry as the Sahara. The sauce on the pork of the Dan Dan noodles was basic. Moreover, the fish was clearly frozen and of low quality £18+ , the sauce was bland, watery and the only reminisce of Sichuan flavour in the sauce was the Sichuan peppercorn. The food okay if you are not vegetarian because there's not much choice for vegetarians. We asked for stir fried vegetables but it was mainly Chinese cabbage and less of other vegetables. Disappointed.

Some of the best food we have eaten in a while, special dumplings and salt pepper prawns were a winner (along with everything else) ! Customer service was faultless. Can’t wait to go back

Lovely fresh, authentic home style dim sum at keen prices in a café setting. Sichuan chicken also excellent. No cards, but they will take a bank transfer, which is obliging. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great for a quick dim sum snack. They do not sell alcohol but you can bring your own. The dim sum is very good, that's all we have when we visit Panda.
