The dim sum are good ordered the prawn, the siu mai with pork and prawn and both were good. I also ordered a portion of the pork bun funnily didnt look or taste like what I ve had at other places(picture) it’s just another dim sum but the filling was over seasoned. The mains the schezuan wings were just doused in soya and few schezuan peppercorns not enjoyable. Just a bit soggy with the watery sauce. The dan dan noodles were simply plain with no seasoning, lots of oil and a layer of fried salty pork mince on top with no flavour. Also ordered the special noodles (picture) which were oily noodles themselves bland but other ingredients such as prawn chicken tasted alright., I think it is over p...
DELICIOUS!!!!!! I fancied some dim sum and googled a top rated place and this came up so I had to try. It was 30 minutes drive away but I’m glad I went! I understand why this is rated high. The food was so tasty and I cannot wait to return. The won ton soup was beautifully presented and it was the best one I have ever tasted. The dim sum selection was full of flavour and at an excellent standard. My kids loved trying them all and loved their noodle and rice dishes. I wish I lived local to this place as I would eat here so often. Well done to the welcoming staff and talented chef! I will be back for more delicious food.
The restaurant always provides a friendly greeting. The seating and ambiance may be simple, but the star of the show is the incredible dim sum. The menu is small, but that's because everything is prepared from scratch, a rarity in Chinese or Asian eateries. The ingredients are fresh and expertly cooked. Dishes arrive as they are ready, encouraging sharing. The food is truly delightful, with unexpected delights like vegetable buns or cucumber with peanuts. I am a frequent visitor to this place, as it is conveniently located near my home. I feel lucky to have such a gem nearby.
Lovely local place run by the most friendly family. The dumplings are delicious and many to choose! The won ton soup doesn't go to my stomach, it goes to my heart, it's pure life, makes me happy every single time. Beautiful local atmosphere. As for the food, well, this is obviously a dumpling restaurant so I haven't really adventured with the rest of the menu but one thing is certain: Go have a soup and some dumplings, all that you did last saturday night Healed! Worth coming here just for the smiling face of the woman who runs front of house. The food is superb, all perfectly executed and cooked in the kitchen that you can see from your table. BYO making it exceptional value. You’ll struggle to find better dim sum anywhere in London.
What a friendly place! All the waiting staff were so polite and welcoming. What lovely food!! Had freshly made dim sums and chicken fried rice, it tasted excellent, a lot better than some restaurants in Chinatown. Great value for money! Will definitely go there again soon!
