Sometimes, small Chinese restaurants in hidden locations can be the best. The wontons could use more meat filling, but there aren't many better options for Chinese takeout in this area. Unfortunately, Imperial Orchid has gone downhill since changing owners. Long River in West Islip isn't as great as people say it is. The buffet in North Babylon can be hit or miss, with food ranging from terrible to decent. Panda Kitchen in West Babylon is likely the best tasting option in the area. The girl at the counter can be friendly once you get to know her. I was impressed by the sesame shrimp, which were hand-battered and had a thick coating, making them tasty. The fried rice is brown, a rarity these...

I've been ordering food from here for over 3 decades. It's not that I don't like Chinese-American food it's I don't like the prices at this point. I can go to an authentic Chinese restaurant and eat real Chinese food, which tastes so much better, especially for these prices. I've lived in Hawaii. There's a huge difference between mainland take-out and take-out in Hawaii. In Hawaii, everything is authentic. You can not even get the egg rolls like the mainland. That was the one thing I missed. Thick eggs roll shells. I do love Americanized egg rolls. This place cooks great food, but clearly, the economy is destroying grabbing a quick cheap meal.

I'm sorry to say this, but I have to be honest! I eat Chinese food at least three times a week from various places all over the island, as I work in trade (Long Island). I feel confident in my ability to critique Chinese cuisine. I ordered the chicken lo mein with pork fried rice lunch special, but the rice was hard and seemed stale. I also got an order of fried pork dumplings that tasted like fish on the outside but contained pork inside. My main point is that pork shouldn't be fried in oil used for fish. Overall, I'm quite disappointed.

I really don’t get all the bad reviews. Panda Kitchen is my go-to restaurant for Chinese food. Not only they have a good selection of the stir-fried classics, but they also have excellent Lo Mein, Chow Mein, Chow Fun and everything else.Maybe they could be kinder on the phone, but in general it’s always a tasteful and very affordable experience. I order there at least once a week. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food at this restaurant is reasonably priced and excellent quality. It has a homemade taste, with no ingredients from mass suppliers. I will definitely be returning soon!
