Panduro Cool Food

This café /tapas place/bar has something to offer for whatever time of day you wish to visit. The owners have a bread shop accross the road called 100% pan that makes the best bread and cakes in the area so the fact that you can get their pastries and cakes for breakfast here in Panduro is something worth doing. They serve a good looking coffee too. At lunchtime and in the evenings, they have marvellous beer on tap (estrella galicia), great music and its fantastic that they don´t have wifi as you have to talk to people!!. We have tried absolutely everything on the tapas menu. Its all fabulous especially the shredded pork arepas and the croquetas. The croquetas come with a selection of different flavoured mayonnaises. In the evenings, they have a selection of gins and mojitos and the music creates a great little stopping off point if you are on the way to dinner or on the way back from dinner save yourself and have dessert here. The cakes are out of this world and worth trying. If you are a little hungrier, then try their gourmet burgers. The tuna one that they have just put on the menu is so delicious that I could have it for dinner every day of the week. Really a burst of flavour and ingredients. They also have beef option and a duck option too. The decor is quirky and fun and Marlene and her staff are friendly and attentive to all. As you can tell, I have been more than several times but the tuna burger sparked me into action about writing this review! It was delicious. All round great experience.

Mi marido y yo visitamos este café ayer. Está situado en una hermosa plaza al aire libre littla y tiene hermosas flores en las mesas. Los postres y pastelería son increíbles y muy atractivos y las pastelerías que teníamos gusto genial. Desafortunadamente, esa fue la experiencia termina. El café es bastante aburrido y servido en tazas de cartón y el atmoshere es inexistente. Las damas de la tienda parecen muy ocupadas para sonreír y dar la bienvenida a los clientes excepto por los dos jóvenes damas que sirven en la caja, son encantadores. Hubo una mezcla con nuestro orden que se nos dio rápidamente otra factura por (que pagamos porque somos personas muy agradables) pero luego se hizo sentir muy poco bienvenido. Así que, sin necesidad de decir que no vamos a volver a este café y va a estar frecuentando los otros cafés en la plaza que puede no ser tan cool pero son reales y amables...

Como panadero yo mismo, esta tienda café es un lugar imprescindible en el centro de San Juan. Gran selección de excelentes panes, croissants y repostería. Ahora que la obra del Plaza adyacente ha terminado, la apariencia y aspecto de la tienda han mejorado mucho y espero que haya mejorado su negocio. Recomendaría esta panadería por sus productos y servicio amigable a todo el mundo.

Este nuevo establecimiento se abrió muy recientemente y se encuentra en la plaza de playa san juan. Un poco lejos de la zona turística pero una zona tranquila para tomar un café y un aperitivo. La elección en el menú es limitada pero lo que recibe es bueno. Los propietarios también tienen una buena panadería un poco más lejos.
