Pane e Bene has become one of my favorite places to go for a quiet dinner on a weeknight, or a comfortable choice for a date night. The owners are lovely and the food and service are excellent. It can get a little tight in the dining room, but I wouldn’t let that deter me from a future date. Always enjoyable.
The food here is absolutely amazing. The owner Angelo clearly has a passion for what he does because the wines are all perfectly selected and the food makes me feel like I am in Italy. If you have not been here it is a MUST TRY in Fairfield County!
The food was excellent. The service was above average and closer to excellent. Owner was very personable and enjoyable. One waiter talked down to people if they did not understand the cuisine. All in all a great evening with family and food.
