Panera Bread - Reservar una mesa

My fiancé came to visit and wasn't feeling well; he hadn’t eaten all morning and wanted something light, like soup, to help settle his stomach. We decided to go to Panera Bread, conveniently located on Nelson Road in Lake Charles, LA, near the Lauberge Hotel and Casino and the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino. I ordered a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup for him, and I got a Turkey Panini, a cup of Vegetable Soup, and a Strawberry Banana Smoothie for myself. Everything was absolutely delicious. I’ve visited Panera Bread a few times before to buy pastries and cookies for the holidays, and I’ve always had a great experience. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating. It seems like there was a misunderstanding with the ordering process through the app. I was hoping to either wait for them to re-enable the app options for pick-up or to place my order while on the go. However, I have some medical issues that make it difficult for me to stand for long periods. I usually prefer to order ahead, but now it seems there are no options for using the drive-thru or placing app orders. This has made my experience quite frustrating.

The service and atmosphere were excellent. However, the bread for the sandwiches was a bit tough to eat. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5. This was a dine-in brunch experience.

I only grabbed an iced coffee through my sip and save plan. Service: 3/5, Food: 3/5, Atmosphere: 3/5.

Absolutely fantastic! The food was incredibly fresh, and there were so many salads to choose from.
