It's puzzling why they open for the last half hour if they are already packing up the food. It seems that this would fall under after-hours duties. Their computer ordering system should indicate what items are available or, alternatively, they should have a staff member to handle orders closely aligned with the kitchen. Having the doors open during that last half hour when they can't fulfill orders makes little sense. It seems they might need a new manager. It’s frustrating that they choose to stay open for the last half hour while already preparing to close down. This seems like a management issue; they should have their computer ordering system clearly indicate what items are out of stock, or at least have a staff member check with the kitchen during closing time. Opening during this period when they can’t properly serve customers doesn’t make sense. To make matters worse, a manager was called to help with our refund but didn't address us directly, only providing a couple of one-word responses before leaving. The following day, on May 25, 2022, I called again at 9:30 AM and faced the same problem—no answer. As an update, it seems the only way to reach Panera is through Facebook. They offered me a $5 credit, but that obviously doesn't cover the missing items from my order. After I expressed my dissatisfaction, customer support offered me some additional credit, but still, there was no attempt to send the missing items or any communication from the local store. Overall, it was a frustrating experience with very little support.
We had lunch on a Sunday. I ordered the grilled cheese with a bowl of tomato soup. The sandwich wasn't grilled like the picture showed, but it was brown around the edges and the cheese was melted. It still tasted good, just wish they'd actually grilled the bread. My wife got a salad with her flatbread pizza which was very good also. The staff were friendly and the interior was clean. So I?ve visited this location on several times and the food is very good when it?s done right. However there were some downers to this location. There was older grey haired guy who took our order he needs to be retrained in customer service! Their bathroom is disgusting I had a take out order so I didn?t sit, but the inside was filthy. And my wife found a hair in her sandwich. I can?t go back there the idea of it turns my stomach.
The tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches were fantastic, as usual. However, the Caesar salad, which was advertised as being made with romaine lettuce, mostly contained iceberg lettuce and lacked plenty of greens. The large portion wasn't really that big either and was priced over $10. I won't be ordering salad from them again.
I purchased an Orange scone and got a free smoothie plus I got an ice coffee. It was an amazing snack! The workers were very friendly, made me laugh so I returned the favor. Made the experience exceptional. Very clean, enjoyable and relaxing. A good thing for snacking or eating!
