First of all I would like to start with the fact that I really love Panera bread products. I have been a customer of Panera Bread for many years. However, yesterday I was at the Lagrange IL location. Much to my dismay, I found it to be filthy, unkept, and lacking some sort of management or training. I am not certain if there was a change in management but they should understand that in order to operate a food establishment it has to begin with cleanliness. This is a review of a manager named, Alyssa. I 'm not actually sure if she IS a manager because she didn 't demonstrate leadership skills, take responsibility, or any action. She would not listen and just walked away. She, also, refused to identify herself. That 's OK, because the cashier did. I did ask her if her name was Alyssa and she said, No and denied it. There was an incident this morning where an aggressive panhandler entered the café. He has been banned from entering for the last 2 months or so, due to a physical altercation he had with a male customer. Listen. I love Panera. I really do. But wow is my view of Panera changed after today. I’ve been to a lot of different Paneras but haven’t been to this one in a couple of years. All of the other Paneras I’ve been to have been very pleasant, good food, good vibes, etc. This Panera couldn’t be more opposite. For starters it was trashed. Like super dirty. Garbage on the floor, food on the floor, food on the tables and chairs, napkins and cups left on tables. Mind you this place is carpeted which made it even worse. Obviously it’s partly the fault of customers for not cleaning up after themselves but also, I was at Panera all day working and not once did someone sweep/clean a table. The bathroom...

The staff in the morning are fast, congenial, and pretty efficient in filling orders. Just recently, I started drinking my coffee black and noticed colorful bubbles covering the surface that are stable and don't disappear, even after 1 hour. I was at dinner on Friday and it was not very busy. There were a bunch of adolescent kids making a bunch of noise and being quite unruly. Management just ignored their childish behavior and it was not the best environment to be having a meal. They had intermittent loud speakers and were swearing without regard to all the customers in the dinning area.

Ordered the Fiji chicken apple salad for curbside. Got home went to eat and had no apple slices or nuts. Imagine a apple salad with no apples. No butter for my bread and when I asked they said they don't give out butter unless asked. Who eats bread without butter?

my panera and I come here almost every day. I do not notice the cleanliness problems. could use something to rebuild; there is a chair rail that falls off the rear wall. her coffee is pretty good and brot is great. good suppe. I've always been well treated here.

dirty floors, water on the floor through soaking penders. juvenile allowed to take tassen with kiosk to take drinks..not pay and behave in series. employees are friendly, but wish the manager would correct these problems. Reserva una mesa ahora

I have lived near this panera since they opened years ago. my order is more wrong than it is right. tonight I came home with my Mediterranean veggie sandwich and there was no hummus on it!

la grange panera has the best ice cream in comparison to Panera’s in westernchester, willowbrook and downers grove. it is stronger and not so watered.
