We had made a reservation tonight for 6 people at Panorama Restaurant Margarethenstein to celebrate a birthday. We came a bit early to the restaurant, so our table was not quite ready, but according to the waiter it would be ready in time, so we...just had a drink in the bar. We weren’t seated until 20 minutes past time of the our reservation! This was mainly due to the fact, that the owner of the restaurant was very talking to the guests at the table we were waiting for. When we finally got the table, we also had to wait a while to get the menu’s and afterwards to order. From the time we ordered to we all 6 had our food, it took about ONE HOUR !!! We visit Kaprun quite often, but this place has been on our list for some time. We have finally reserved a table last week for a family dinner. Everyone ordered a different meal and each of us was extremely happy with their choice. The presentation,...the taste and very cozy atmosphere with very nice views we really enjoyed it. We had steak which was exquisite, two types of pasta and a fish. The restaurant is on a top of an apartment building and the way to it can be bit confusing as you have to pass the apartments and walk through few corridors, but its very nicely decorated and definitely worth a try. It is quite small and gets rather busy, so I would recommend a reservation in advance.

We went with friends for a meal on a Monday evening. Lovely ambiance, cost and warm atmosphere. Great food. The menu could be a little more extensive. Such a shame it's not open in the summer when you could take real advantage of those stunning...views.

Food was amazing, we had the 5 course meal every night during our stay in Margarethenstein, every day was another menu and always exceptional. The restaurant was busy every night that speaks for itself. worth a visit if you are in Kaprun

A visit worth Fantastic Food Location. Decor very nice. Only what we could improve was not a dessert! Very recommended
