The restaurant was empty at 7pm yet the service was slow and inattentive. Our salads came out with the meal even though we specifically asked for them to be first. Our water glasses were rarely refilled. The food was workmanlike though oily. To be fair... the bread was quite good. We didn’t see a server after our meal was served and had to go find someone to ask for a check. Overall... a disappointing experience at a place we had heard good things about.
Paolo's was always a go to place for me. Shame on me for not trying it in recent years. Something happened. The quality of the food is barley passable. The place looks dirty and very down on its heels. Even the menus are so old the lettering is wiped off in some places. Very strange. I will not be going back.
ate outside on a very hot day. was exactly what we were looking for. had a light mozzarella and tomatensalat that was perfect for a hot day. husband has gnocchi and son had a huge piece of laugh. good solid ggeorgetown favorites.

The service was wonderful and the food was amazing! We had a great rep with our waitress. The seafood was well cooked and didn’t taste fishy or anything like that.
this restaurant is closed/from the store. I went there with my family on August 24th and had to eat elsewhere.
