I can't even remember how we found this, just looking for something less French for dinner after a week in France. Really beautifully presented food, the burgers are a must I think, my friend has the Bison burger, be careful with the ordering if you don't like rare, his medium was extremely rare. The nachos with guacamole were distinctly Dorrito and disappointing for the price paid. Can be found in a side street of Stansilas square. Skip the starters and dive straight in to a huge burger. Really smart interior, a great experience over all.
Being located in the main restaurant tourist trap near Places Stanislas, I had my reservations about the experience that awaited our family at Pape Joe. I was pleasantly surprised, as the food, especially the classic Pape Joe's were very good and the staff were excellent. If you are looking for something simple and quick then you won't go far wrong by visiting Pape Joe.....
We had a quick lunch there, having salads and burgers (the picanha of angus was appealing, but I resisted...).These American classics were reworked to accommodate with French palates. The result was tasty for all of our dishes.A flaw if any : the light was dimmed down, and I like to see what I eat; but this is minor.
Nice steakhouse with BBQ grill. Everyone can find his favourite in the menu. Mixed grill meal was very delicious and very big size. Place is good for a company of 5-6 people. Very friendly waitresses. Food came very fast. 2 floors. Nice interior. Reasonable prices.

After leaving Restaurant L'Os a Moele, across the way from Papa Joe, for not getting any service at all we were excellently treated here. The service was great, quick and never had to look for someone. The food was good and so was the atmosphere.
We found the service fast and friendly. The meat was well cooked with excellent pieces of beef. Moreover, the ratio quality/price was honest. The only matter was a small wine card, however, the wine we choose was good.
Great place in the middle of the more touristic area of Nancy. Very tasty burgers, with great mustards honey sauce. Do try the Joe's Classic with bison meat. Kids welcome and special menu available.
The service was very nice and had no problem with English. My steak was cooked as I wanna have it. And the local Irish coffee was great. And by the way it is not a pizzeria as American would think.

We found the food to be very average but the drinks expensive, my beer was TWICE the price as at the bar we were in later - WHY ???
Visited yesterday ordered medium burgers came over cooked- burnt . Bun was stale 45€ For 2 rubbish burgers & I Coke & 1 beer .
