The wings were fantastic, but I have to say, that pizza was much worse than I remember. It’s been a while since I had Papa John’s; I used to think they had the best pizza. Unfortunately, the crust was practically nonexistent, and I’m pretty sure I ordered a small with regular crust. It didn’t taste fresh, but I can’t hold that against them too much since I had it delivered through DoorDash to Stratford. Personally, I enjoy cold pizza, but biting into this one and finding the flavor akin to cardboard was pretty disappointing. I was charged $70 without knowing exactly what I was getting. The person who answered the phone had a strong accent, making it difficult to understand. A friend of mine called later and had the same issue. They didn’t mention any menu deals, which made me feel like something was missing compared to the original Papa John's experience. I won't be returning. The pizza was disappointing, and the service was just off. It would really help if there were English speakers answering the phones. Overall, it was a letdown!
During my visit to Summerside, I enjoyed four lobster rolls, and I must say the entire staff is fantastic. I even got another one today for takeout. Ramona, my server, was incredibly sweet and definitely one of the best I've encountered in a restaurant. I spoke with the owners and shared how wonderful their establishment is!
They serve the best pizza in town! I love their pizza crust, and the toppings taste incredibly fresh and flavorful. You definitely have to try their sides; they're all fantastic. My personal favorites are the garden fresh pizza and the cheesy sticks with spicy garlic sauce. I would recommend this place any day, any time! Reserva una mesa ahora
The Garlic Cheddar Knots were ok but had so much garlic sauce on them that it had saturated the box and part of my Cheesesticks box too. I could see that the Knots had to have been swimming in the sauce. I couldnt finish them due to the overwhelming greasy feel. The Cheesesticks however were as awesome as always!
The Chicken Alfredo Papa Bowl was really disappointing—too oily and nothing like what was shown in the pictures. The Chicken Poppers had the sauce applied directly on them, which completely ruined the dish. As for the Pepperoni Pizza, it was just average; not impressive at all.
