Hi! My name is Camille and I visited John’s for the first time today! I am not from the state of New Jersey. I was traveling and starving so as I was going back to DC, I saw this store and decided to give it a try! I wanted to say that this place exceeded my expectations and more! The lady at the front (Caucasian lady) greeted me with a smile and even complimented my scent. She was so kind, warm and pleasant. She took my order very swiftly and got my sandwich done in 10 minutes. My food was hot, fresh and delicious! She even brought my order out to my car! I don’t know who the owner is if this establishment, but I will say that this place will definitely prevail as they treat their customers...
This place is so inconsistent. 20% of the time you get great, fresh food. The other 80% of the time you get the opposite. I order the same thing every time. The days that the fries are fresh and the pizza is fresh and well made make me keep ordering but think after today’s order that is changing for me. Ordered a white broccoli pizza and cheese fries. The fries are clearly reheated old fries. The pizza today has large chunks of burnt broccoli when the last time it was fresh tiny pieces of bright green broccoli. When it’s good, it’s great but when it’s bad, it’s bad. Upsetting.
So disappointed in John’s. On a Wednesday afternoon we ordered a medium pizza and fries. Over an hour later we called to follow up and no one even apologized or called to follow up if they were confused about our address. Worst part is they are 7 min away. (Had three babies with me, really couldn’t load up car to get them all inside to grab a pizza). When the food arrived you can tell clear as day the food has been sitting out just waiting for …. Someone to call and ask about it I guess? Also . It was $30. Medium pizza and fries.
We have been enjoying the wonderful food and service for years. Happy to see they are on DoorDash now. I can order from anywhere . Best hospitality anything to please the customer. Vegetarian options: Plenty of great salads and. Veggie options. Kid-friendliness: My daughter as a you d child I would take her to eat, family friendly place. Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is I front of the store it is very accessible there are no large curbs to Go over or steps.
