We went to this hidden gem of a speakeasy for drinks with friends and were very pleased with the experience. The drinks were creative and fit the theme of the restaurant well. They were also fresh and summery, perfect for a hot day.For food, we ordered the crackling salmon spring rolls, papaya salad, and beef salad. All the flavours were en pointe, everything was fresh and crunchy, and the seasoning was perfect. Our friends ordered the beef carpaccio, pork spring rolls, and the crepes. The beef carpaccio surpassed that of some of the nicest restaurants in YYC.We will definitely be coming back for more.
Had the best time spending time with my girl friends and our server Kobe was AMAZING!! He overheard us in our conversation and he immediately tuned in and it was so much fun conversing with him like it was natural. Atmosphere was amazing as usual and the food as well no complaints! The other servers as well who helped serve our foods and complied with our requests were so friendly and kind! Definitely my favourite place with friends. One of the best cocktail bars in Calgary. A lovely selection of classic tiki cocktails with some new riffs sprinkled in. The atmosphere is the standout a true speakeasy experience as the bar is hidden behind a nondescript door, but as soon as you walk in you 're greeted with vibrant East Asian decor. The food is simple street food. Wouldn 't come just for the food, but it 's a nice and basic accompaniment to the cocktails.
I love this place, the drinks are top notch, they are creative and always coming up with new ideas. The food is unreal, all their dishes are so flavourful and have all the right textures and balance. This cocktail bar in Calgary offers an amazing atmosphere. The drinks are not only tasty, but they also pack a punch, giving you great value for your money. The food is on par with any top-tier restaurant. You absolutely have to try the banh mi with pork belly and the fish sauce wings. Every dish is guaranteed to delight!
The kind of place you want to keep a secret.The food was phenomenal and I’d love to try some noodles from here. Ambiance is not as private as I’d like a speak easy to be (in terms of table set up), but would be fun with a big group rather than for a date night. Looking forward to coming back and trying more off the menu!
I visited this restaurant for my birthday, and it was truly a special experience! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly and laid-back. We had a wonderful time and are so happy to have discovered this hidden gem! The spring rolls and cocktails were also amazing!
Tasty small plates and cocktails with a really welcoming staff. Not cheap, but worth it for a nice time out with friends.
